KEF Welcomes New Board Member!

Please join us in welcoming Shannon Howard, KEF’s newest Board Member! Shannon is the daughter of Alexei Knagin (Port Lions) and Enid Primeau. She was born and raised in Port Lions and graduated high school in Kodiak. She is married to Dan, a recent retiree from the United State Coast Guard after 20 amazing years of service. They have two children: Peter and Nadia. Shannon received her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in accounting from the University of Alaska Southeast and her master’s degree in accountancy from Western Governors University. KEF has always supported Shannon’s academic endeavors. As a way of saying Quyanaa, Shannon gladly accepted the nomination to the Koniag Education Foundation’s Board of Directors in May 2024. Shannon said she is honored to hold a seat on the board of directors for this amazing foundation.
