Tangirnaq Native Village (TNV) is pleased to announce the renaming of their TNV Tribal Scholarship to “The Margaret “Agnguarta” Roberts Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is in honor of the beloved, late Elder Margaret Roberts. TNV recognizes and memorializes Margaret’s tireless efforts to showcase Alutiiq culture through language, dance, and wellness initiatives, as well as her advocacy in promoting education, vocational and career enhancement of their Tribal Citizens. Margaret’s lifetime advocacy for the Alutiiq people will live on and help to guide future generations.
TNV is also excited to announce that beginning with the 23/24 academic year, KEF will be administering this scholarship on behalf of TNV.
